Went in later to talk to the tech who informed me there is nothing wrong with it. He said the oil level was normal and there was no cause to investigate any further...
I bet he would not put that in writing & on a service report....
BTW, why not tell us the name of this Dealer ????? There is nothing wrong with this---they should be responsible for what they say..

ain't that the truth. Why won't dealers be responsible for their actions? I know that is an open ended question and I don't own one of these trucks, but I would be screaming my head off at these dealers for not taking action. My mgr have gone a round or two over my Sable, don't settle for less than excellent service!!!
It really comes down to the Dealer. I think if my injectors fail, my dealer will probably replace them all. I have had excellent service from my earlier problems, and the service tech even told me about the leaking rear pinion seal before I noticed it. I have to drive about 55 miles to get there, right past my local dealer who is 2 miles from my office, but it's worth the effort.
You know, It's in the dealers advantage to find and fix all the truck problem's that the customer complains about, (I just don't under stand) Thank goodness for my dealer thy listen and explain About any thing I cry about.
i apologize guys, i dont know the nerest ( INTERNATIONAL TRUCK DEALERSHIP ) around my area so i went to the shaker shop. no offencse international tech , but international dealers around here is closed!!!
Ford replaces only the leaking C94 injectors, do they replace with the C95 injectors? Has anyone studied the ramifications of running "mixed" injectors over a long period of time (assuming the rest of the C94s run a long period of time)? I know when working with tractors (diesels expected to run thousands of hours between mechanical services) injectors where replaced in groups not one at a time.
I don't think it will matter, The redisign is to the piston to keep the spring from binding and preventing it from closing completely, which makes the c94's leak. Otherwise they should put out fuel in the same manner and amount.

TO EMTABMM-
Can not e-mail yet. Have not been a user long enough. Can you e-mail me your email address. Also, service manager was standing there when the tech. said they were not going to check for injector failure. Have already purchased my oil sample kit and will get it done soon. Maybe i should just drive it until it locks up!!

Actually, I believe that the redesign was to stop side loading of the plunger, which was causing scrapes or grooves in the plunger.
