Question is, is ford gonna recall and give all the 03s the new injectors?? Is there a way to voice our concern to ford other than talking directly to the dealer? Maybe a letter or phone call to HQ?? If i were to buy these new injectors and tell my dealer to put them in for me, what kind of cost am i looking at and later on if there is a recall, would they reimburse me??
What advantage would be gained by changing the old 03 injectors to the new ones? Unless of course your having problems, but otherwise would there be any performance improvements etc?
The problem with the injectors are that they let fuel into the oil, correct? What kind of problems and what sort of damage can occur from this happening? How quickly do problems/damage take to occur? I ask only because I am sure I can smell fuel in the oil, but I do not have a clue as to how long it has been that way.
At the launch of the 2003 Ford PowerStroke 6.0L's engine, Ford used a fuel injector design that has proved fatal to the engine. The fuel injectors were stamped with numbers "3C3Z-9E527-AA" and later "3C3Z-9E527-ABRM". Within months, Ford recalled all of those fuel injectors in dealer inventory and by 17 April 2003 began to use a new design, part# 3C3Z-9E527-AE. Ford, however may have continued to build new 6.0 engines with the old fuel injector until 03 May 03. After that date, Ford used the new fuel injectors in all new engines and service applications
cdtruckin, I keep reading the part about Ford Recalling all the injectors in dealer inventory, but I undestood that they didn't actually swap out the old for the new on the vehicles in dealer stock. Is that true?

Check your oil level as often as you can like every fill up !!!!!!!
If it's over or at the wire part of the dipstick take it in.
If you get to much fuel in the oil what happens is the turbo seizes up first by that time your engine rod/main bearings are most likely hurt.
