Wow, it went from rust bucket to trail toy, good job!. I would love to have the space/tools you own, i would be able to get some things done a lot better and faster...
Thanks guys! I have actually done most of this on the curb! I only just got access to a shop space a month ago!
Yes the 400 will stay in it, I will be replacing the rings and bearings first though.
Lots of progress today, I actually got everything done today that I wanted to get to this weekend.
Started by pulling the rear axle and got the rear onto the trailer.
Then onto pulling the trans and transfer case, I dropped them with the hoist as one piece.
Correct, I still have a couple holes in the floor to fix, and the passenger rear 1/4 had a crease I cut out.
I have a patch panel lined up for that and plenty of sheet metal for the floor.
Then I have to get the underside of the body cleaned and undercoated.
Then it will be ready to install and ready for the paint booth.
That frame is lloking lovely, what did you use on it?.
Sorry I hadn't realized that I did not mention that yet, it is sand blasted then powder coated and baked.
The coating is actually plastic, very durable, completely water resistant and very nice looking!
