The motor will spin easier by hand with the spark plugs out or at least loosened to reduce cylinder pressure. Not mandatory, just easier as well as trans in neutral!
It took me 2 times to get it right. It started. Now i am waitin for the person to come after work and time it
The first time i i had it on 0 perfect, but the disti had to turn the pully to the top and it moved the cylender off top dead center. when the rotor was not where it should have been moved it to plug1, that messed it up. So i had to do it over, IT STARTED
turns out church gets in the way. We will do the timing tomorrow late. the truck actually runs well. I believe i need fuel pump and i want to hook the front tank back up and i will need a fuel pump for that one. I have a lot of stuff i want to get done
yes the instructions say to not use it if you have a pacemaker. it can stop the pacemaker and i will die.
This is a new one for me. I question the science behind this claim. I googled it and found an ignition system called a "pacemaker". Maybe the instructions are telling you not to use this timing light if your car has a pacemaker ignition system.
Nope, it is the getting shocked, that could put the pacemaker in run away, and kill him graveyard dead, my dad, also had to stop welding, and stay away from electric fences, kin folk had pigs/goats.

The one on his heart! I didn’t think about the chance of shock from wires, makes sense.
Strap on some ***** or borrow a set?
Not sure I believe the pacemaker narrative
My mom died with one on her
*They just jumpstart the heart when they detect an abnormality
I'm quite sure you can get shocked by a plug wire and not die
I'll ask one of my Dr. buddies and my Cardiologist to be sure
Sorry for the High jack..
you'd be wrong, in a loved ones last days with a pacemaker, the Family has to decide when to turn it off, or when loved one passes, the pacemaker starts shocking the heart, until it starts back, or the pacemaker runs out of energy(its not pretty to see.
