How do I turn off FordPass?
I don't use my phone to remote start.
I think it turns on my WiFi on my phone automatically?
I know when to change my oil.
Delete, delete, delete!
Early on, I swear I had to have a Voodoo Priestess waving a (recently) dead chicken over the dash to get FordPass to connect. I don't have remote start functionality through the app, so it is of limited use to me. Over the air updates have never worked. I've had to do the USB updates. Otherwise, great truck!
Your insurance company also tracks your vehicle through the app. I have my milage set lower on my insurance because I don’t drive the truck much. I had to take a sudden 5,500 mile trip at the end of June and I just received an increase in my insurance for going over my estimated milage. I don’t report my milage and have not taken my truck into a dealership so FordPass is the only way this milage would be documented. I have State Farm.

I have State Farm too. They also get their mileage estimate from smog checks. On vehicles that don't go in for service, and don't smog, they automatically base the mileage off some generic average.
I believe it's annually that they recalculate the expected mileage. Anyway, I have to pay attention to that premium statement since they have jacked up the estimated mileage and premium on one of my vehicles (not the SD) a couple times. It's a vehicle that hasn't been on the road for over 5 years, so 0 miles per year. Last time they based the premium off of it being driven over 9k miles per year lol. The only suggestion they have offered was keep on eye on those premium statements and call in to correct the discrepancy each time. If they are somehow using the FordPass app to track mileage, without permission, I should see a decrease in expected annual mileage on my next statement.

Mileage is also reported from maintenance records - that's the only way Allstate could know about my odometer readings. Dealers as well as chain shops like Midas and the like report info to Carfax, which in turn can report to insurance carriers.

Illegal without your permission. However, on my 22 F450 I did see an option to enable insurance integration. Some insurance companies base rates if you opt to on driving habits. I think progressive has that option. It was in the advanced settings, may want to make sure that's not turned on.
I still don't have points from my 2022 F350 purchase. I called customer service and they pushed some buttons and said the points would show up within 48 hours... that was 3 weeks ago.
