Latest brake module recall
Ford just issued a recall on a large amount of their vehicles, including our F250 and F350 super duties. I have a 22F 350 and have had no problems at all with my brakes on the trailers that I tow. This recall is supposed to fix a loss of turning signals ,loss of brake lights and even a loss of connectivity with your trailer brakes. Has anyone had a problem with their trailer brake control module? The recall includes 2022–2026 F250 and F350 super duty’s. It’s 4.3 million vehicles corrected by a dealer or over the air update.

I rear ended someone at a traffic light when I tried to stop while towing my 12,000lbs 5th wheel. The truck's ABS kicked in, but I had no trailer brakes. I filed a report with Ford at the time, but it didn't go anywhere. Now we get a recall.

This my worst fear while traveling and why I have and use a Cat Scale account. I know a regional manager of a big insurance company who told me if you are overweight and involved in a serious accident where someone is critically injured or killed the insurance company will not answer any phone calls or emails.
