2022 Brake controller update available?

Has anyone had the software update for the trailer brake module done yet? I had mine into dealer last week and it wasn't available yet.

I heard April 18th is when we start getting recalls and the dealers will have the new flash.

Mine was done last week. 22 F250 Platinum. All dealers have the ability to update. Some are choosing not to do it yet.

My F-350 was done last Wednesday (4-6-22). Took about an hour. Dealer told me they turn paper work into Ford and it can take 30-90 days before it clears out of FordPass app. It does seem a shame some dealers have to lie about availability

It appears Ford released the update but then turned around and retracted it for the 22 models. I saw a letter posted somewhere that claimed there was an issue updating certain 22 models and that dealers were not to update them until further notice.

Sounds like a screwed up mess to me.

When did you take receipt of your F450? Seems that most of the recalls were for only vehicles produced in certain months, like November/December/January. Anything after, they had already applied the new patch so it won't show up on the recall.

This shows it was for Super Duties built between December 2, 2020 thru February 15, 2022. So a lot more than just November thru January.
