2005 stock F350 King ranch FX4

I am looking at replacing the shocks and cannot figure out which Rancho 9000 to purchase, From center of hub to the center of the fender the front measures 24 and the rear measures 28. Is that a stock height?

I am also wanting to know what I should do to my truck, nothing has been touched on the truck and it has only had the high pressure oil pump replaced about two years ago. I have seen coolant filter and an extra oil filter system that takes out the smallest particles but I am not sure where to start. this truck runs great and I have not had it bullet proofed but want it top last as log as possible, Any ideas where I should start, I do not want to go cheap, I believe that you should purchase the best instead of replacing two or threee times, any thoughts?

Post several pics of the top of your engine. Would like to see the oil filter housing and the degas bottle especially.

Probably the first thing you need to do is read/learn. Then you need a gauge system to watch critical parameters when driving. A good scan tool like FORScan is great for troubleshooting, but not the best for watching "PIDs" while you are driving. Do some searches on what is available. Post up questions.

Do yourself a favor and don't buy Rancho my friend. That company is so irrelevant and their shocks are garbage with many unsatisfied customers and warranty issues.

There are so many better choices, namely Bilstein 5100.

As for the other stuff Mark has you covered.

Good Luck

X2 for the Bilsteins. I've got them on the front of mine.

My Bilstein 4600s are better after 90,000 miles than the Ranchos were brand new.

Yep, save your money and get the Bilstein 5100 series shocks. You'll be shocked at how much the ride quality improves.

I just put Bilstein 4600's on my truck, really nice ride, I didn't want the stiffness of the 5100's. I would call it controlled compared to the ranchero's that I took off. Highly recommend the Bilsteins.
