Hello,
Recently I rebuilt my IP with a new housing and after all the headache and figuring out where I went wrong I got it to run. Only it runs poorly now. When it ran it was quiet, had a good amount of white smoke, and severely underpowered. From what I understand these are all signs of timing being retarded.
The fuel screw inside the pump is 3.5 flats from maxed out, the guide screw is not set perfectly but its set enough for now. I have the pump turned a good quarter inch towards the passenger side. I planned on turning the pump as much as I can towards the pass side and if that does not work I will pry up the housing and advance a tooth. If none of those work I will have to look back at the pump and ensure it is working properly, however I have no way to bench test or calibrate it. If I'm looking in the wrong direction please let me know
