I am looking for a few that have successfully installed an aftermarket intercooler on 7.3 IDI factory ATS turbo engine. Looks like there's couple of internet companies that sell whole kit Hypermax for ATS for $1800+...but I think I could install an EBAY or aftermarket intercooler\Pipe system for much cheaper for stock ATS turbo setup. Only thing I see is their setup has manual wastegate controller similar to ATS in looks. Any ideas? If a few have setup this mod and had success.... pictures with parts list would be appreciated.
Also would not mind to hear feedback from any that installed the Hypermax intercooler setup for factory/ATS turbo on IDI.

Goal is keep engine cooler under turbo load especially in summer or hot days. Have to letup to zero boost to cool water temp down. Also...what is recommended Pyro kit or setup for ATS turbo?

As you'll see, that's just what I did. Used an ebay intercooler and fabricated up my own. Copied the setup on my other truck, not much latter.
