yes it hangs from the rad support,
about an inch or so above the support. The bottom of the radiator sits about 1/2 way into the support.
Thanks, I'll tackle it in the spring. My biggest issue is that I need to bring the top forward an inch or 2 to clear the air intake of the coyote. But it hits the rad support and the cross support rods... Next year
Finally tackled the tranny cover, for my limited metal skills, it went pretty well. I still need to do some welding and fitting, but with a couple hours in, it turned out better than I expected. I've been dreading this for a while...
Got the truck on its rims, pushed it around the shop to start getting ready for winter. Hoping to get 1 or 2 more things done before we call it quits till spring.
I'm kinda liking the menacing look you've created with the shiny blacked out grille against the mild green patina. Is that part of the plan for final finish?

Ya, that's the plan. Keep the patina, black everything else out. It'll be unique
Calling it quits finally, the weather has finally changed. Will be back on it in Spring, little bit of rust repair, finishing up the cab, paint, undercoat, clear, etc.
Then I have to figure out how to get the coyote running.
Here's a link to a thread I started on the Vintage Air Gen 5 .https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...3-56-f100.html
I won't be hooking up the A/C hoses until I'm ready to put the truck on the road. There are times when you'll do some cursing and think this SURE FIT kit is a LIKE HELL IT WILL kit .just need to take a deep breath and work around the obstacles..
