Mount on your firewall or inner fender with cables to your battery. Don't have a picture of them mounted on my trucks but that what I've done..

That's what I thought but was hoping someone would post a picture for definitive proof.
Is this on the passenger side? If your truck is a Deluxe model there would be one on the driver's side too. If it is a Standard Cab then just one on the passenger side.

I just want to share an upgrade I made to my horns. Noting the engine installation, I am assuming you are going to a 12 volt system.
The original horns sounded a bit anemic in my opinion, so I picked up a pair of '57 horns from Bob Drake Ford Restoration Parts that have a very pronounced "wake-up" note. I used the original mounting holes on the core support and fashioned mounting brackets from 16 gauge sheet metal. I'm sharing some pictures and I saved the paper templates. That looks great, I'm a long way away from a horn at this point, but thanks for the advice. Luckily I know CAD and have access to a laser cutter. If I'm stumped, I'll reach out to you!
Doesn't matter if it's not to anyone else s liking, it's you that matters. It could be a 2 million dollar restoration and there would be someone that would pick it apart...lol
