53Patina if you scroll down in in this EZ Wire install article by a forum user you will see he mounted a set of these remote terminals.

What's this for?

Another dumb question, what's this for and should there only be 1? It's on the rad support, but only 1 side

That's what I thought but was hoping someone would post a picture for definitive proof.

Is this on the passenger side? If your truck is a Deluxe model there would be one on the driver's side too. If it is a Standard Cab then just one on the passenger side.

Later today I'll pop my hood and get a picture.

Thanks all! Would not have ever been my guess.

Working on the front end until my new Currie 9 inch shows up.

Core support and rad painted black, going to bodywork the bumper and make it pretty.

Horn upgrade

Greetings 53patina,
I just want to share an upgrade I made to my horns. Noting the engine installation, I am assuming you are going to a 12 volt system.
The original horns sounded a bit anemic in my opinion, so I picked up a pair of '57 horns from Bob Drake Ford Restoration Parts that have a very pronounced "wake-up" note. I used the original mounting holes on the core support and fashioned mounting brackets from 16 gauge sheet metal. I'm sharing some pictures and I saved the paper templates. I would be happy to share them if you like what you see.

That looks great, I'm a long way away from a horn at this point, but thanks for the advice. Luckily I know CAD and have access to a laser cutter. If I'm stumped, I'll reach out to you!

Still mocking up parts, working on the color scheme, which is evolving into patina with all the trim, running boards, suspension, etc being black.

It'll look like an old truck, but essentially be a brand new truck. I know it'll offend some people, but I like it.

Doesn't matter if it's not to anyone else s liking, it's you that matters. It could be a 2 million dollar restoration and there would be someone that would pick it apart...lol
