Been having on again off again transmission issues. Have had P0751, and p2700 codes in the tcm. I have replaced the D solenoid recently and it drove fine for a while but now it’s having issues shifting again (especially down shifting). When draining the fluid to replace the solenoid the fluid was still red and didn’t look or smell burnt. Truck runs and shifts great at full throttle and doesn’t seem to be slipping. It seems almost like the truck is stuck in a different gear when on start then slams down into first gear half way through the acceleration process. When you look the codes up on direct hit the most common repair is a trans overhaul but when explaining my symptoms to some shops in the area they seem to think it’s a computer/electrical problem. I’m new to the game with transmissions and figured I’d throw this out there before spending the money to overhaul.
P0751 means shift solenoid A is not performing correctly. A transmission rebuild will fix that ONLY if shift solenoid A is replaced when it's rebuilt. Actually, just changing shift solenoid A should fix it without the rebuiild.
After replacing the solenoid did you clear the codes? Did P0751 come back after clearing the codes?

I previously had codes for the D solenoid. So I replaced that. It ran and shifted relatively well about a month later I started getting the codes for the A solenoid. I’m now having the codes for the A solenoid and the friction element code. I believe at one point I may have had turbine speed correlation codes at one point as well but haven’t had that in a while. And the last time I drove the truck I looked at the live data and that seemed to check out. It really mostly happens when the truck gets warm which leans me more towards a mechanical failure. I also recently blew the cooler lines off of the secondary filter by the cooler
