4R100 Transmission Issues (codes P0732 and P0781)
Hello all,
I started to experiencing shifting issues a few days ago, it was either hard shifting into 2 or 3 or not shifting into reverse or 2/3 at all. I changed the fluid and filter as a first step (fluid was clean as it was changed not long ago) and pulled DTCs P0732 and P0781 from the truck. The issue seems to get worse when the transmission is warm. With a cold transmission, it shifts pretty good.
Today I went out and ran some diagnostics and found I was getting electrical faults on shift solenoid #1 and shift solenoid #2.
I'm wondering if I can fix this issue by picking up a new Transmission Control Solenoid. Sorry if I'm way off, I don't know much about transmissions.

I don't know what those screens are showing, nor where they are getting their data. If there were an electrical fault it should set a code for an electrical problem. The codes for electrical faults are the most reliable tests that the PCM has.
And if there really is an electrical problem, chances are it's the wiring, not the solenoids.
