The best advice you've gotten above is to just check the Ford Approved Oil list and buy an oil on that list Google the list WSS-M2C171-F1
I used a lot of Shell Rotella over the years. When Covid hit, I could not find it in stock. And I switched to Valvoline Premium Blue 5w40. ( it on Fords approved list but the 15w40 is not)
The Valvoline oil is on sale at NAPA almost every other month for $25 a gallon.
I sent 4 oil samples off out of my 23HO engine with change intervals in the 8500 - 9500 miles and it is showing good results and holding up well.
And I guess that would be the next piece of advice. Choose an oil and send a couple oil samples off for analysis and then decide.
