Please don’t make this a normal oil thread, but I looked some and there are so many of them I got tired of looking.
A while back there was a discussion and it was stated that some oils had more ash it them or something to that affect,
and would trigger regens more often.
if someone could find that thread or remember which oil did that I would like to research it more.

Your right it is old... CJ-4 oils, which came out in 2006 or so, cap Sulfated Ash at 1% of weight. CI-4+ and previous oils were allowed 1.1 to 1.5%. DPF's would not tolerate the higher ash oils for long. Outside of boutique oils (Amsoil,etc) good luck finding a CI-4+ oil anywhere anymore. CK-4, which succeeded CJ-4 retained the 1% cap.
