I use the Valvoline 15w-40 because it’s endorsed by Cummins (they know a thing or two about diesel engines) and it’s about $2 per gallon cheaper than the Delo at my local parts store.

i use the valvoline 15-40 all fleet because that one oil can go into everything i own. makes life a lot easier with only one oil for everything.
I don't know about that. How much can they know if most of their engines are missing at least 2 cylinders.
Exactly what I was thinking! LOL
We’ve used Mobil Delvac for years with no trouble. Only issue is they were jacking around with their pails. Some didn’t have a vent, and last pail was red instead of black. Black pails have always been engine oil, while red pails are gear/diff/hydraulic oils etc. Doesn’t mean anything, just odd that they’d change after all these years.
