Power Window Issue
Hi there. First time on here. I have a 1996 F350 Crew Cab. The p/s rear door window does not want to play ball. I have pulled the switch and don't have any power getting to the switch. I'm assuming there is a break in the power wire from the master switch on the d/s front door. What I don't know is how those wires are run to the back door. So my question is.....do the power wires from the front d/s master switch run along the firewall under the dash and then back? This would make most logical sense to me, but I wanted to check. Power works to all other windows so its not the master lockout switch. Blue/Red wire coming from the lock out switch is showing power to the d/s rear door and it works. I'm not getting power from the same wire on the p/s rear door. Broken wire somewhere in the truck is my best guess. Thoughts?

Agreed, good DVOM with a basic continuity test function helps for narrowing down where the power is and is not on the line.
You may have to build a new door harness, but it is not the end of the world if so.
