It must have been mental telepathy, I saw two pounds of hamburger thawing out in the refrigerator. I asked my wife what the plan was for the hamburger, of all things she said I'm going to make a meat loaf......
did it have everything Rob mentioned
I like meatloaf especially making sandwiches out of it , our local Coop makes meatloaf on Thursdays I always ask them to turn it into a sandwich without the mashtater
well it’s down pouring Rain , supposed to turn to snow sometime today but not yet it’s only 37
It is interesting to find out things about a loved one who has passed away. When my brother died and I went up to clear out his apartment, that is when I found out he had a CCW. He never mentioned it. That is what motivated me to get my own. Thank God I have not had to use it.
Happy Wet Friday NorCal! We logged 1/2” of rain so far at the house here in the North End of the Sacramento Valley.
I too prefer Mom & Pop burger joints, but a change of hands can have a significant impact on the quality of a meal. Looking into my refrigerator for leftovers that can work for tonight.
I will be interested to see what the storm results are on Monday, especially since we canceled several outdoor events due to weather.

I’ll try and remember the next time I get up there. The last trip was to the kids fishing day at the hatchery.
Living in The City, it's common for me to see roast pork. Many cultures sell it. Several pounds came my way. Good for me, because I would never cook a whole pig myself. I do, however, make fried rice.
Made out like a bandit at the food drive today. A liter or Welch's grape juice, two 2lb bags of fish sticks, oatmeal, prunes, and black turtle beans. Which I have never heard of.
Problems with the scooter though. Did not want to engage the transmission, twice... So, another email to the VA.
Truck still waiting for the brake light switch to be installed. Not the brake switch which I bought yesterday. So, that was returned and after visiting AutoZone (which could not find the correct one) to O'Rielly which found one for a Ford Fiesta that was identical to the switch in my truck. Go figure. The one they listed for my ruck was not even close to what it has.

Jim
We happened to be in HMB on Thursday, and walked out the door of a local establishment to watch someone in a Honda sideswipe a scooter that looked a lot like yours. The guy got knocked off and was laying in the crosswalk. He did have dark clothing, but the scooter was a bright orange plus he had a flag on it that was at least 6' high. I just guess that the woman in the Honda did not see him or was distracted. She parked & waited for the constabulary to arrive at the scene. The guy had a contusion on his forehead, but was conscious.
Ok , now I’m starting to worry about Jim , has anybody seen him since 3 pm yesterday?, maybe the mechanic fixed his truck and he’s out on a drive about , I had his cell number in my old phone a few years ago but it didn’t load back to my contacts, Hank ?
