I acquired what I was told is a 1969 950 super duty. I can’t find anything about the truck I have. Has duals in the back I’ve never seen except for a dump, but I have a different body style. Please let me know what I have. I know nothing about it or “N” series trucks. I can’t wait to get this running!

The truck series and model indicate it's a tandem axle truck. In '69 there were few, if any, super single setups. Thus, all medium and heavy trucks were DRW. Not all were tandem, but there were tandem axle models going back into the '50s.
The tandem trucks were designated with a "T". They started at the 700 level, so you have T700 or T800 etc, that are F series trucks with tandem axles. The N series started in '63 and offered the NT850 and 950 under the S85 and S95 series numbers. U85 & 95 were T850/950 diesels, and W85/95 were NT 850/950 diesels.
I don't know production numbers, but Ford sold a bunch of tandems. Including going back to the F series (600s I think) "rubber band drive" models with a regular live axle connected via belts between to duals to a dead tag axle.
If it's not running, this will be a good run through to see how easy/hard it is to get parts for the Super Duty V8. Tune up parts like cap, rotor, points and wires are the same as any other Ford V8, as long as you get wires for a larger engine. Timing is 6 degrees. Idle circuits might be on the rear block of the carb as the carb should have a governor.
Carb kit can be found with the list number on the choke housing.
