All of the "usual suspects" are indicated on the warranty card. Special Orders are many times for paint, transmission, axle or engine--in which case either the code will be missing or the code will indicate DSO. It could have been just this combination that was not in dealer stock and had to be ordered.
Thanks a bunch for sharing that info. I know nothing about these trucks. Decided to save the truck from the scrap yard for a few hundred bucks. The starter was shot so replaced that and solenoid, bypassed the fuel tank and lines this afternoon and got it fired up everything sounds good. Gonna hook up a tank and gravity feed it to get it home. Anxious to see how brakes power steering etc works once I get it moving.
Lay into the brakes a couple times before you get on the road. Check the inside of each wheel and see if you have any leaks. Check the master for fluid level.
Looks pretty good. Dayton type wheels--some don't like them but it can be an easy switch to tubeless if it isn't already.
