I have one of the headliners with the speakers in it. I think they are pretty good, at least they were. I bought mine quite some time ago now. I took the original chrome trim and sanded it down (it was rusty) and painted it satin black and used that to cover the edge of the plastic headliner. came out pretty good.
Well I woke up last Friday morning after feeling good Thursday and my back was in pain it got worse through out the day last Friday. Ended up getting another mri Tuesday. Went to see the doctor today and got bad news I herniated another disc in my lower back as I was sleeping. It’s sounding like most likely another surgery is on the way. Possibly fusing 4-5 vertebrae
Ya I just wish I would’ve just got the fusion in the first place everything in my lower back is just not in good shape. And I also have 2 fractured vertebrae up towards the middle of my back so I’ll be eventually getting fused from my tailbone to the middle part of my back
all youngsters here reading this please take care of your backs and ask for help to lifting things. I don’t wish this on anyone and I’m only 46 years old
Well I’ve got a start on reassembling the cab. Had to order more dynamat and I’ll get that finished up. Got an American auto wire harness and Dakota Digital instrument cluster ordered. I’ll be using a seat out of a 95 f150. I just have to decide on how I want it recovered
So far I’m ok I had a visit with the surgeon the other day. And didn’t feel like I got the answers I was expecting and as I was trying to tell him what I have been feeling in my back he preceded to walk out of the room and not listen to me at all. I am making a couple calls today to a couple other doctors to try to get a second opinion. It really pissed me off when he walked out of the room and not hearing what I had to say
On the back; wishing you get an excellent surgeon. The back operation can be very good now, like going from extreme painful, can hardly move, to FIXED!
Hope that’s the case for you, And it can take some months to recover/rehab after the operation. Good luck.
A second opinion is a good place to start. I was really lucky with the Doctor that did my shoulder surgeries. He was my second opinion and looked at my xrays and said "when do you want to schedule your surgery" after others had sent me to physical therapy and shots. He said that those actually caused more damage than good.
I agree with the shot’s causing more damage and really don’t want to get the nerve block to bandage it for 2 days. I tried calling a highly rated surgeon in Omaha and he won’t even make an appointment for someone till 6 months after they’ve had surgery. That’s 4 more months to wait
