Very happy for you that it worked out. I had to wait 8 weeks for a guy to come out to my local shop and do the install. Once him and his crew showed up it took them leas than an hour to do both the front and the back. He put the seal and trim on at his own shop before showing up and said it was a bear to do. Never would have wanted to do it myself. Best $400 I ever spent.

You were very lucky. It took me months to find anyone who would even consider the job and not laugh me out of their office, and I'm local to the "Motor City". Skilled individuals are getting harder and harder to find every day. I don't envy anyone doing a resto project these days. If I ever end up doing anything with the '76 when the boy gets older, unless it's shattered, that original glass is staying in come hell or high water.
