Proper windshield installation procedure question
I'm wanting to install the windshield and back glass in my 56 cab. I have watched videos but none show them installing using the butyl . Is the butyl put in after the glass is installed or put into the rubber before installed on the glass..?

I did the glass on my '53. I used butyl. I squirted it in both the seal at the glass prior to fitting the glass into the rubber, and at the rubber to the cab frame. It got messy at times. But, the butyl cleans up easily with mineral spirits. I had never installed windshield glass before, but I was successful. I had two helpers.
