Question Block and crank ID 351 ?

I bought what I was told was a Ford 351-WCP 23 roller block. I see casting numbers F or E6ZM 6015 6351 between the two screw head looking things I see 919

The only thing i can find on the crank is WGS and 21 on one counter weight - there appears to be 8K17 in the casting

Cant find much info on either - want to build a stroker motor using Scat rods and Nahle pistons -
Help
Thanks Rick

If you are building a stoker, then why do you care about the crank?

Are the bolt hose there to hold the lifter spider in place?

The 351w roller block was released in 1994 and had F4TE casting number, E6xx would denote a 1986 block of that is correct. The roller block also has 2 raised boses in the lifter valley to mount the factory spider retainer assembly.

The crank wasn't in the block - it was wrapped in blue plastic - appears new. Just want to learn about it - Thanks

The cranks for the 1 piece seal blocks have a smaller oil slinger made onto them than what was used with the two piece seal. Balance is always the same on the 351W, 28oz front and rear.

Maybe I am slow - but - WGS and 21 on the crank means its a 351 Windsor crank !
So far - being new at this is my major disadvantage - my cousin who passed away last June always said , "You know enough to be dangerous"
He always pointed and said - "you might want to try it the way the book says !"
I now am selling off his estate for his wife - i can buy the parts at his cost - so I thought maybe I'd finish the 351 - theres tons of parts for it - Mahle pistons, Scat rods - cams - lifters - intakes - too many carbs - and more. (all Ford)
Thanks for the help and quite sure i will be asking more questions.

For a novice, the easy way to tell the two 351 Ford engines apart is by the fuel pump bolts
The Cleveland design (and M motors) has vertical fuel pump bolts where the Windsor has horizontal
Why so concerned about which exact crank you have?
I'd be concerned with "is it any good" and making plans for running it
Just got two BBC cranks back from the machine shop myself
I was sweating bullets for a few days waiting to see if my expensive forged 427 crank was going to be okay
It was okay (had spun a bearing and was shut off in time) now at .010 / .010
Good luck
