This is the first time I actually checked mine properly. I was never flashed at before because mine were set so low. I did not notice too much driving around locally at night as there is always light to moderate traffic around here. I did notice that at times when it was dark enough, I was only casting a good beam about 2-3 lane markers down the road. That’s ok on a twisty road but it was rather limited in a straight line.

It took a few days of using some spray and jiggling a screwdriver with it to finally get the gears to turn at a level where I was comfortable with not feeling like it was going to break. You might be surprised at where they are set if you have never checked them. I figured Ford could have at least done that properly, I figured wrong. Turning the adjustment counterclockwise will raise the beam pattern.

The light project is progressing along. Had to find a dark(ish) road near the house to see where I’m at. Past 10 vehicles or so tonight and nobody flashed at me so we will see. These are still a bit lower than what Ford recommends for setting them if you go by the owners manual.

This is low beam headlights

This is high beam headlights

This is low beam with white fogs

This is front amber/yellow pods on low with OEM low

This is just the front amber/yellow pods on high which adds a driving spot for increased driving speed.

This is the driver side rear pod. Not a great pic as my friend was blocking the other side but you get the idea.

I might add these same rear pods and flush mount them on the side of my Ranch Hand bumper to cover the sides if needed. Even though my truck is white, it looks red in the pics.

Just posting to finish out the thread as I installed the last set of pod lights today, so the upgraded lighting project is now complete. These side pods were mostly a PITA, but I got them in. If anyone decides to do something like this, look me up and I can give you some FYIs that may make it easier on you.
