2020 Led headlights

For the new oem Led headlights what is the reason on low beam the upper set of leds (highbeams) are dimly illuminated while lower set low beams are on? Looks a bit corny to me.

I wondered the same thing. I had LED’s on my previous ‘17 F350 and just the top lights were on IIRC. The ‘20’s lights are better than the ‘17’s.

Because it would look unbalanced. The 17-19 low beam is on top.

The 20 Leds are great I agree, had them in my 18 and 19 but the 20 are noticeably better, just don’t know why the low light from the top set on low beam.

Wait til it gets dark out and cover the Low Beam. Then you'll see where the supplemental light from the Upper Lights is projected.
