Found a donor bed, chopped out the toolbox.
A careful cut and fit to graft in the sheet metal.
I like it when people think outside the box. Sorry it was just to easy. But that really is a cool idea. Makes you wonder if Ford ever thought about doing it.
I have a shortbed and have thought about customizing one to fit, but I've got ZERO fabrication skills, so it probably won't be happening any time soon. lol

So it looks like the box itself is only attached to the bedside? Or are there brackets underneath holding the rear of the box?
It is also supported in the back and bolts thru bed floor. The plastic and metal versions are a bit different but same concept.

I believe you can have both the inside the frame aux tank and a left side tool box. The problem would be the fill tube, but tool box could be modified for it, since it needs modification anyway.
