Picked this thing up. Gonna use it as a DD. 95 4 door long bed dually, 2wd, auto, 205k. Tried to fit it in the garage and wouldnt fit so I did a DRW to SRWswap. Found a SRW bed for $100, swapped the bed and then paint match rattle canned it. Then clear coated it. Also found a D70 Srw out of a 2003 Ford E350 with disk brakes and 8x6.5 bolt pattern. Also started cleaning the crap out of the entire interior. Lifts make things so much easier.

Had to make a few adjustments to the rear end, redoing brake lines and had to narrow the spring perches 2.5"s on each side. Wasnt too bad with a plasma cutter, cutoff wheel, and a portable band saw. Little before and after.

Swapped the rotors from DRw to SRW up front, then got to cleaning up the exterior. Eraser wheeled all the pin stripping off. All 200 linear feet of it. Also found some passenger mirrors to swap and paint match. Also painted the b pillar black. Thatll come in later.

The tranny shifts great and the engine runs great. Needs glowplugs and has a little more blowby than id like but if it starts having issues theres a company here in town thatll rebuild it for 2k with parts included.

I also have a divorced NP205 sitting around and an 05+ SD 60 that the front coils would fit on perfectly. Been thinking of doing a 4wd swap while keeping the 4r100 tranny.

4R100? Did someone swap that in? These trucks all had the E4OD from the factory (similar, but not quite the same).

They were all E4ODs until the SD trucks came out in '99.
