Since it is his fault, the truck is still there I should charge him with pain and suffering.

Laziness is all I can think of. The mechanic said he had the starter and AC compressor installed when I got there yesterday. And to think, the owner said it would be done by this weekend... They still have the hood off, the cowling, the inner left fender...

WRT: marijuana, I saw a news item yesterday that Sonoma County is debating about eliminating their county marijuana taxes. Seems it's costing them more to collect the taxes than they receive in revenue. So it's a negative on their balance sheet. It's also the only agricultural product in the county that is taxed.

Interesting. I saw a post on FB showing a bulldozer covering up a bunch of windmill blades in the dirt. The dozer looked like a small bug compared to all of them.. The blades were worn out, or defective, and there is no recycling plan for them. So much for a greener planet.

It's a great day. I just got my favorite pinball of all time delivered. White Water is now next to my 2nd favorite, Star Trek the Next Generation.

My favorite was Firepower. But I don't like it enough to buy it, even if I could afford it, there is no room in this apartment.

I am an opportunist. Dr. Martens stock is sinking, and the CEO is jumping ship. It's a cheap stock. Trading for 7 times earnings. I wouldn't buy it. But this may be my chance to get a good price on a pair of their boots. Their boots, which are overpriced, might get marked down.

That brings back memories. In the late 70's and early 80's I used to go with a friend's family to Lake Berryessa for a couple weekends each summer. At the marina they had that Playboy machine. We would spend hours playing it when we weren't out water skiing. I think my friend's mom used to give us quarters just to make us go away for a few hours.

I can't seem to find the Firepower game I loved 40 years ago. Doing a Google search brings up pinball games that don't look like anything close to what I played.
