Chicken cooked in soy sauce. A favorite dish in Hawaii. You learn this when you have a Samoan girlfriend. Apparently, a dish that's also popular in Chinatown. As I remember eating this when I was a kid. And not just because I have a Hawaiian uncle, or Samoan girlfriends. Ingredients can vary. I put everything in a roasting pan, and bake it in the oven. A lot of people cook it on the stovetop. End result is almost the same.
Failed my CCW retest again. Beginning to think I will just let it expire and keep it for home defense... I get one more retry before I have to take the class again. But every attempt cost me money in ammo. Can't really afford it.
The first publicly broadcasted murder trial. It opened the eyes of America. The common person finally got to see how the legal process works, and/or does not work. The average person got to learn nightly, with news reporters recapping the play-by-play, about things like law & motion, scientific evidence, hearsay vs eye witness testimony, circumstantial evidence vs factual evidence, et cetera. The birth of court television.
There was a group of us hanging around at the old Peppermill Casino, Restaurant, Bar. The girls were all commenting on how Marcia Clark hired a stylist, how much her makeover costs, and how she got a new wardrobe. The girls cared more about what Marcia Clark was wearing, than the actual trial. I thought to myself, "So what? She still looks like 5h!t." That was my first realization of the female psyche. Women judge each other, based on appearance. They didn't care about 2 people murdered. They didn't care about a man's life on the line. They cared about hair and makeup.
