I often am loaded with a truck camper so no toolbox to put stuff in - hence I use an AluBox (I think it's 29L size) in my backseat. No odors in cab because it seals so well. I get 1 gallon HotShots then disperse it into multiple 1000ml Polypropylene reagent bottles (chemical safe) that fit nicely into the box - handy size, safe, easy to pour without drips. I have 1/2 dozen bottles + funnel + other random stuff in the AluBox.

edit: this is the bottle, same one I used as a chemist in the lab back in the day
Having trouble with the link here's the exact title/description at Amazon:
"Reagent Bottle, 1000ml - Narrow Mouth with Screw Cap - Polypropylene - Translucent - Eisco Labs"

Wow, that's one expensive plastic bottle. $12 for one?

I'm liking my glass hot sauce bottles more and more, lol

I tried using an empty bottle that originally had a gasoline additive in it and if memory serves me correctly it started getting soft after a few days of being filled with diesel additive.

I haven't stored additive in one, and it could depend on what additives are used, but I have been using a small Gatorade bottle to measure and dispense diesel additive. I don't wash it out so there is always residue and a small amount in the bottom, seems to have held up fine. Going on a couple years with the same Gatorade bottle.

Makes you wonder what Gatorade is made out of…
