My truck is the same configuration, but mine is a '95, so I'd expect the specs to be the same. According to the owner's manual, my tanks are 19.0/18.7 gallons, front to rear. Manufacturers typically understate the capacities, since they don't allow for filler necks, etc. So, I decided to run each tank completely dry to determine how much fuel I could really hold.
It took 22.0 gallons to fill the front tank, and 21.0 to fill the rear. Knowing that, you can travel considerably farther without stopping for fuel. I hope this helps.
