What part is interesting?

You will find the same type of letter for any part that has been given a CARB E.O. #.

It's pretty ridiculous, even something like a simple CAC pipe has to go through the approval process. I contacted HSM about the likelihood of their CAC pipe being CA legal. I was told they have been in the process of CARB approval for 1.5 years...and still going. Even just a different color of the same part needs to go through the application process. Sinister diesel for example, one color of their CAC pipe is CA legal, and another color of the exact same pipe is not. Crazy state.

Edit- It looks like the HSM CAC pipe finally got CARB approval, they are now showing an EO#. Only took almost 2 years.

I’ve quoted it at work a few times when necessary - rules are for the guidance of the wise, and for the blind obedience of fools.
We seem to be ruled by them nowadays.
