XLT Creaking Dashboard
I've read a bit about this on other threads, but I went exploring this morning and found only one bracket under the dash about in line with the left side of the globe box. I tightened it's bolts and the bolts on top and under the dash and it had little to no effect. I sprayed a little silicone lube between the dash and the window on the passenger corner as that's where the sound is coming from, it also had no effect. Is there any solution, or is this just an old Ford build?

As a follow up, I found a random YouTube video "fix dash squeaks in 3 minutes" of a guy with a Cherokee with the same problem. He said the fix was to tighten the hood hinges where they meet the firewall. Mine were already pretty tight, but I got another revolution or so out of the bolts and it cured the problem COMPLETELY on the passenger side and mostly on the drivers side.

Thanks, I did and they were. Some of that compressed particle spacer had fallen out because of it but it was sitting right there. Problem is now, Icab is quiet and I hear all of the suspension squeaks!
