No crank

I have a 2006 f250 with 6.0 and had an oil pressure problem new hpop and stc fitting and stand pipes was done was cranking it over to get it to start and after a few times of cranking it won't crank at all no injector rattle and the ob2 port is dead so can't get no readings right now. If I use the wire on pass side it will crank but not by the key at all. I am at a loss and just ready to junk it. Any ideas on what it could be?
The truck is rust free and in great condition but I am ready to take a loss and be done with it

Check fuse 22 in the cab (Central Junction Box).
Verify that the fan clutch wiring hasn't been damaged anywhere (this is the easiest thing to check of the multiple potential problem areas)
Does fuel still pump with only the key on (not cranking)? Checking for PCM operation with this test.
Turn the key on, put it in reverse and see if the reverse lights come on. Also a PCM test AND a test of the Transmission Range Sensor.
Does your cigar lighter port have power? It is on the same power circuit as the DLC connector (OBDII port).

Can you back probe PCM pins/connections and the OBDII port pins for voltage data that might be needed?

What @bismic suggested above for F22. Also, he asked if the cigarette lighter had no power as well? It shares a fuse (F12 - 20A) with the OBDII port. I don't think that would cause your no-start, but something else to check.

Fuse 22 was bad and that fixed the no crank and the obd2 port now just waiting on new IPR.
Thanks for the answers

You might think a bit about what caused Fuse 22 to blow.

Many times it is a short in the fan clutch or the fan clutch wiring. Take a look at the wiring condition at least.

It was a bare wire on the wires for the IPR that touched the intake.

For future readers:

The IPR 12V power supply is on the same circuit from the PCM Power relay as the fan clutch 12v power.
So is the GPCM power, EGR actuator 12V power, and 12V MAF power

Shorts in any of these five circuits can blow the F2.22 fuse (and sometimes the problem is hard to find because it is internal to the component itself)!
Also, the fuse doesn't even have to blow to experience issues (issues that include loss of PCM data access from the DLC connector), if the PCM power voltage is dropped down too low from the short, the PCM will not function.

In another of your threads (from 2021), you stated that you had a high pressure oil issue on a 2005 model year.

https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...-no-start.html

Is this the same truck (ie did you just made a mistake on the model year in that post), OR do you have both an '05 and an '06?

The main reason I am asking that, is that in the thread about the '05, you posted that you never have gotten it to run (you bought it in non-running condition). Background information helps us help you.

I have to say that I am surprised that you have had two "05+ year models that both required an HPOP replacement. That model HPOP is pretty darn reliable (and expensive). If an OEM HPOP was discarded and an aftermarket HPOP used, then the engine reliability may not have been actually improved.

How about an update or closure on this after you get the IPR? Lots of threads without conclusion/answers just make it harder for others to benefit.

Was the IPR bought from a dealership?

Were you getting it up to 440 psi prior to the installation of this IPR?

How many cranks (and for what duration) have you tried?
