Def usage definitely goes up
As egr is not functioning.
it seems if egr is successful. Then def should be less..
as far as pids...off top of head
Log in yiur forscan to data logg and do the line by line to find what you need
Egt 11 iirc is 1st in line at the torpedo under the truck
I need to go look at mine

I had an active regen last week going from 100% full DPF to 0 over about 10 minutes. The truck's reading of my DEF level was the same before and after.

The 9th injector, injects fuel into the DPF to burn soot. DEF is used in the SCR to reduce NOx. Two different emissions

The 23+ trucks ( and especially the HO) run hotter than previous generation 6.7L engines. This extra heat in the combustion chamber produces more NOx and requires more DEF to remove it.
If you don't want to use as much DEF, watch your turbo boost and minimize how much boost you use and your NOx will be less and require less DEF to clean it.

I get roughly 700 MPG of DEF with my speed being on average 60 MPH. My current Fuel economy since 660 miles when I reset the trips, 16.7. In 6117 miles I used 8.79 gallons of DEF. I am down to 24% and need to refill, so I can get my triple stats in which is more accurate.

One suggestion is to get a tail pipe emissions test done and compare it to what Ford would deem the average nominal reading. If the emissions sensors are out of whack, it will show up in an emissions test.

Also on a fully warmed engine, smell the exhaust, if you smell ammonia, it is definitely injecting too much urea.

Interesting. My 2024 F450 HO Lariat with 3500 miles dropped 30% of it's def towing our new 6000# trailer this last weekend about 300 miles.

A few weeks ago we did a 300 mile trip from Ohio to Indiana on the turnpike and used about 20-25% DEF towing our 15k 5th wheel. Same results on the way back.
