Just to brighten your day up further, Ram is the only truck maker that makes a 2WD 3/4-1ton truck with SFA.

Correct, and I feel the hard ride In my F-250 with the FX4 is from the rear end more so than the front.

I don't have the same opinion or complaints about the ride of my 250 w/FX4, but I do agree that the rear rides stiffer than the front. IMO completely normal for an unladen truck, especially an HD truck.

Yep, I would think when one buys a HD truck to expect a harsher ride

You also have the 19 which was said to be harsher riding than 20-22, and in turn those with 23+ say theirs ride better than the 20-22.

At the rate this is going, we will soon have F350s that ride better than Buick Lesabre of the days past..

The lighter front axle of the 23-24 might have something to do with the better ride.

How harsh a ride is is an opinion, what I think rides harsh is going to be different than what someone else thinks. I have FX4 and camper package in my 22 250, keep my front tires at 55, rears 57-60 all the time, whether I'm towing or empty. It rides no worse than I'd expect a SD/HD truck to ride, its no caddy but its not near as bad as some believe their ride is in this thread.

Could be.

I am happy with how the 20-22s ride with the well understood dana super 60 and dual lockable hubs.

I’ll take the slightly worse ride and the heavier/bigger front axle of the 20-22 over the better ride and lighter/smaller front axle of the 23-24.
