2003 FX4 Shocks
Hi
I just picked up a nice 2003 FX4 4X4. This FX4 has the factory offroad package with Rancho shocks. Even though it does not ride that badly I think these will need to be replaced soon (they may be original with 99k).
My question is can I use non rancho shocks on this truck?
Is the ride height different on the FX4 where I may get into trouble with this money saving tactic??

I believe the shock was made by rancho but to the ford specs. If your looking for shocks, www.samsoffroad.com has great prices. Wherever you go you just have to tell them what model you have. Good luck.
