I need a CPS as a backup, and the pig tail kit, as there is a Code P0340 showing.
I knew Riff Raff to have good parts, I ordered Motorcraft...
I did not see a "color code" on the CPS, so which one will I receive?
here is what irked me, it is now Friday morning at 00:21 hours MST
( Your order was sent to us but is currently awaiting payment. Once we receive the payment for your order, it will be completed. If you've already provided payment details then we will process your order manually and send you an email when it's completed. )
I gave them a Discover Card # which I have used with them before...
what is your experience with "Timeliness" with their order system?
I placed and order yesterday, and received the shipped update probably less than an hour later. Somethings up, I would shoot them a message or give them a call. (unless of course you ordered after hours, then its usually first thing opening of business next day).
Always been 2-3 day from the day I ordered to when it's in my hands. Provided I didn't order on Friday at 3 p.m. or a holiday.
well, just looked at my Email and it shows they accepted the order at Fri, Jan 5 at 12:19 AM
so that is before Business hours open up, it is 05:15 MST in Price, UT.
mother nature woke me up, thought I would ck the mail and FTE before I lay back down.
don't remember where Riff Raff is?
had it sent USPS Priority mail to the local PO Box just 3 miles from the house.
I wanted to order it Wed night, but no internet until last night.
I don't trust cellphones for stuff like that.
Oregon I believe, but my mind hasn't completely woken up yet. Caffeine hasn't kicked in after the alarm went off @ 5. Usually 3 or 4 days to Oklahoma, so hopefully only 2 to UT
My payments have gone through within moments using Visa/Mastercard based on what I remember. USPS has always been the shipping method, except maybe when I ordered traction bars.
They were always fast to provide a tracking number, but after that the USPS does what it wants.
I wouldn't worry about it, but if you are I would just contact them directly. They have always been very quick to respond when I have order questions. I have been ordered from them for probably 15 years now and I always get tracking same day. Of course if you order in the middle of the night you might have to wait till they open to get tracking and an update.
I like riffraff and everything I’ve gotten from Clay. But I can get motorcraft parts from rock auto for less $$$ and they have a location near me so I get stuff from them fast. Also everything I’ve gotten from RA was genuine motorcraft.
If I’m ordering a number of things from riffraff I get what I need I don’t really shop it. But if all I need is a Ebps or something my go to is rock auto.
Shoot clay a email at sales@riffraffdiesel.com. he is always quick to respond and sometimes even answers emails on Saturdays. One of the only companies left that actually get back to you quickly without having to wait two days for a response.
I have been burned by counterfeit parts in past, so I am careful where I get parts from.
For example:
Ordered a Fel-Pro gasket set for my 7.3 PSD oil cooler.
The gasket from the oil cooler to the block failed the 1st test ride. My mechanic changed out the gasket with a Ford OEM gasket at that time. But did not pull apart the oil cooler. Left the Fel-Pro O rings alone.
Fast forward not too long, and the oil cooler was leaking again.
Ordered the real gasket from Riffraff. No issues since. But the extra work cost me time and money.
