Good evening Oregon and everyone everywhere else. Getting the last of the gear loaded. Was hoping to not have to put the basket on to the receiver hitch, but I don't think I'm going to get away with not taking it.

Good morning Oregon and everyone everywhere else from 23 miles north of Enterprise. Stopped at the ‘weigh scale’ phone booth. Just a little clear spot where they set up jump scales and the last spot with any cell coverage.
Clear with lots of stars when I got here. About 0030 some high winds started up. Enough howling and buffeting that it woke me up. Clouds moved in but they are clearing out now.
Moving out in a few. Heading out into the back woods in a few to look for a permanent hunting camp and do some bear hunting. We’re moving camp this year after last years mess in the old camp. Rest of the crew will be here tomorrow evening.
