One way to pinpoint where the leak is coming from is to clean the valley thoroughly and then dust it with talcum powder. Start the engine and then watch carefully for the first sign of oil-stained powder. It may only take a few seconds if the leak is bad.
yes I know...Im playing with ya. Ive used a camera and just couldn't see with enough clarity. I suppose a little talcum cannot hurt. Thanks for the idea.
Finally taking the turbo off to install new o rings, Riff Raff Diesel's, Christian approved billet plenum covers and stainless steel braided fuel lines.
Took the boots off that go into the plenum from the spider... Is this little puddle of oil in the boot normal?
Maybe a little excessive but in the ballpark. Do you have oil consumption? If you're going through oil too then you might want to check for signs of leaking at the turbo shaft seals.
