Well I rebuilt the turbo center section with a new wheel etc last year. No significant oil consumption but rather a leek down the back of the engine.... Both sides. Am changing the o rings under the new pedestal again too. I must have screwed that up. I used Ford o rings throughout.

If the seals aren't dumping oil then I wouldn't worry. It's just the CCV vapor accumulating. Eventually the intercooler would need cleaned but I'd bet not in our lifetimes.

I hope it's only crank case mist from the pcv system. The turbo seals are new... Hopefully I didn't screw that up. Up lll check the center section for play once I have the turbo out.

How does that clip even stay on the arm.. is just friction. If the arm or the flapper linkage connection point got greasy it could slide off...

I need to disconnect the flexible fuel line to the fuel bowl. Is this the correct tool?

This is the line I need to remove... But on the bowl side... I'm putting on billet plenum covers before I reinstall the turbo... It's been years since I did this

Nevermind....I was looking at the wrong line. That goes into the Hpop not the fuel bowl! Sorry.

I bought the kit from riffraff with the two long bolts and 4 black rings. Fingers crossed.

The block has yellow stains from the OEM rings but I didn't have any luck removing it last time. I don't thing that should make and difference given the sealing surface is the bottom of the turbo not the bottom of the block

Is this a normal amount of play on a shaft?

I rebuilt the turbo last year...

I'm no expert on the turbo department but it looks fine from where I'm sitting.

This has me concerned though. You see the wetness where the exhaust housing mates to the center section, is the just from you flipping it over or does it look like it's been there for a bit?

Just thought @RacinJasonWV might be able to give you a more definitive opinion on your shaft play

thats fine and dandy. a turbos issue is almost always thrust bearing related, IE in and out. you can have about .020 of radial play but axial should be less that .008.

...I think it's oil dripping from the mating surface because the unit was on an angle after I set it down.

That wetness appears to have came from the sealing surface after the turbo was rolled over judging by the way it’s creeping down from the center of your circle.

Been a while since I’ve been in one but that looks very normal to me. I assume there is no in/out movement?

Yellow stain will probably remain, but should be smooth with no build up of material. The Orings seal on both the turbo and the block.
