I don't know how Amazon does it, and right now, I don't care. I know all about buying in volume and selling lower than most, but $212 is not in half price, it is like 60% or something. With my current financial situation, I had to choose them over Rockauto.com. Mine is not over night delivery as it is sold and shipped by a third party. I could have paid $38 to get it here quicker but chose not to. The repair shop is lazy like me, and take their time, so I did not want to spend the extra money just to have the parts sitting on a shelf waiting for installation. Besides, he already told me he would need to send it out to have someone else do the timing chain work as he doesn't have all the tools.
I am glad I live in apartments. If anything happens to my stove they fix it, not me. All of the appliances in here are electric so no gas lines to worry about.
The Girl thinks I am rich. In the corner of the world where she is from, pepino dulce is a fruit of the wealthy. Here at Safeway, it's $6.99 a pound. They kind of grow wild in my yard. We just harvested about $50 worth. And maybe another $50 of figs. Not trying to take everything off the trees. Just enough to eat for a few days, and give some away. I see flowers popping up on the loquat, tangerine, and lime trees.
I don't grow much. Just enough to say that something is growing. I got a few meals of tomatoes after months spring and summer. There's enough lettuce for a few salads if I have the patience to wait a few months. I see potatoes. Just the poisonous plants. The edibles are under the dirt. In 4 months , I will have enough for one potato salad. Mustard green is popping up. If the plants survive this cold season, there's a meal of eggplant and chilies in my future. Which is sort of a waste of time. Everyone else grows a dozen plants. I have one plant of each vegetable. Only so many peppers can grow on one plant.
But to The Girl, I am rich by her village standards.
San Francisco's Devin Haney captured The Green Belt tonight. Very basic skills, where what made the difference. No looping punches like a struggling swimmer. Keep the punches straight. Step outside of the southpaw's lead foot to position yourself away from his dominant hand. Step in by pushing off the back foot. A lot of the basics that you learn in 6th grade PE class.
Green belt huh? Just above white, and a long way from black eh? No idea. Don't watch boxing, never have. Not interested in two people beating each other up for money.
No thanks. Not interested. Fighting is fighting. Doesn't matter to me if it is men or women. They still trying to beat each other up. Not something I want to watch.
