Speedometer

On my 50 f5 can i use a 51-52 speedometer so i dont have to use a seperate glass cover for it as i am making a custom cluster.

Will the speedometer cable thread into it and read accurate?

Cable thread will work but as for accuracy, that is determined by the gear in the trans. So the question is , is it accurate now. That is something you will have work out once everything is together and running. Tire size and rear axle ratio determines the gears in the transmission to establish accuracy.

Once you have done all of the above, download a speed app to your phone, and test the accuracy.

it was accurate when i blew the old engine and parked it. So it should still be accurate now with the new motor.
