Long start on cold
Long start on cold
I have a 2011 f150 5.0 Posting to see if anyone has had this issue. It started recently. I turn the key and almost seems like the starter sticks. It only happens on the first start of the day. After that it starts perfectly fine. I’ve clean the mafs. Still happening. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Video is attached.

Does anyone have an answer to his ?
I’m having the same issue on my 2014 f150 3.7. Hard start, and then almost acts like starter stick's. This only happens the first start up of the day. I’m in AZ so the weather has been hot and dry up unit a couple days ago when this started.
try cycling the KEY ON- OFF waiting 3 seconds each.... 2-3 times, to see if the fuel pump builds up more pressure in the raiils and makes it start quicker... then START.... You could have a LEAK OFF problem, or weak pump.
Problem solved, I believe
It was something simple. I live out in the country and it appears as if my cheap air filter had become prematurely clogged. Put a new one in and seems to be fine.
nope! Not a fix, although I did need an air filter
