Just a couple of cold start videos from this winter, I know some of you guys get all excited about this stuff.



-6 Celsius (21f) and the truck had been sitting for over a week, I didn't know I would be going out so it wasn't plugged in.




It was some where around -12 or -13 (9f) Celsius with a pretty stiff wind, the truck was parked all day while I was at work and obviously not plugged in.

 

How cold was it?

As long as it starts, that's a good day.

 

i bet it would start a lot faster with a good starter in the truck. the one you have is on it's last legs and ready to fail.

 

Added a temperatures to the original post. Probably not as cold as what some of you guys are used to seeing but pretty rare for where I live.


The starter is only a few years old, normally the truck has no problem starting if it's above freezing or has been plugged in. I'll leave it in there till it quits, they're not cheap up here in Canada!
