Motormounts are less than $150 if you or your brother can weld. There are others out there but you'll pay dearly. Like $600-$700. With the money you save you can buy a welder....no BS

One other silly q. I don’t know if the existing 351m is a #s matching to truck. Where would I look on the motor to see if its the original motor? If it’s matching, should I save it just for that reason?
After I sold the truck for $35000 in less than 15 minutes, the purchaser put it on bring a trailer where it bid to $45K and he didn't sell it. He had it on his website for $54K. It was gone in just over a week. That stung a little.
The door tag on the drivers door will have an engine code. You'll know if it at least came with the 351M then the VIN number for a 351M engine is stamped on a machined surface on the driver's side top rear of the block. If it's a match you have to make a decision. The engine isn't on any level desirable, and I don't believe selling it will get you more than a couple hundred so again your decision.

Ok thanks. If it is in fact original motor, id probably keep it. It’s kinda like separating twins at birth, they kinda belong together.
Really appreciate you guys and all the detail u put into it. And I appreciate u answer all the probably simple questions 😁
Another q. Obviously my existing column only has D, 2 & 1, how’s that work with with the swap and 6spd tranny?
I went a more custom route. I used ‘18 Mustang GT buckets and ‘12 F150 Platinum console. I have P R N D M 2 1 and select shift on the shifter. All work as a stock ‘12 F150 would. I removed the selector and shifter from my stock column. The Dakota Digital reads what selection I am in on the dash whether Park Neutral Drive or If in manual using select shift it shows Gear 1, Gear 2, Gear 3 as I shift through the gears. Pretty slick.
