NumberDummy hasn't logged on here since June. All 1961-1964 trucks used one bumper in 6 locations - 4 across the upper valance and one on top of each fender about halfway along the top edge. It was a rubber oblong oval bumper that just pushed into the oval hole. If your fenders do not have the same oval holes as it sounds like your valance does, then I'd suspect the fenders have been changed out to the 1965-66 type. In that case just get the ones for the 1965-66 trucks.
I have a VIN that I need help decoding, can you guys help me?

No. The Y would indicate to me it's not a 1961-1966 truck so you are likely in the wrong area (or got the VIN wrong). First try to determine the year of your truck and then find the forum to post your question in based off of that year. All 1961-1966 trucks used 6 numbers for the last six characters - No letters used for those last six.
If the VIN is correct that's probably about a 1977 year I'd think.
