Good morning Jim, it's been real nice about 50° during the day mid 30s at night. It rained all night last night and this morning, the sun just now busted through the clouds.
Don't see any rain in the forecast here. At least not for the next 10 days.
I forgot I entered a contest at realtruck.com to win a 2022 Toyota Tacoma, and hitch mounted BBQ and a electric ice box for the ultimate tailgate party. I am only reminded of it when they sent an email telling me it ends tonight. So, I might be the proud owner of a Full-size brand-new truck tomorrow. Of course, I am pretty sure I am not the only one who entered, and with my current luck, I doubt I will win, but it is something to think about. LOL

I finally harvested the tomatoes growing in the yard. Made a salad with some Costco sardines. Sun ripened tomato are incredibly sweet. Store bought tomato taste sad in comparison. Unfortunately, my climate does not allow for year round tomato growing.
The saga continues. Stopped by the repair shop yesterday to see what is going on with my truck engine swap, and they asked for another week as one of their engine hoists has a broken wheel. They stated they don't want to put either engine on the ground (I guess they do not have an engine stand) so I said okay. So, I guess I will get my truck back next Wednesday. Owned the truck since June, and so far, only 140 miles were put on it, and some of those were by the mechanic brothers who really did not want to work on it once they found out it would not pass smog.
Prices are higher around here. Rent costs more. The wages are higher. It costs more to get supplies delivered. Restaurants charge more to cover those costs.
